With Subway introducing their new company rebrand towards the end of 2015, the timing was right for a fresh look on track for the 2016 race season.
As the designer of Carl Edwards' 2016 #19 Subway Toyota Camry, my thought process was to use bold greens and white to reflect the new clean Subway brand. The graphics used within the design were implemented as a way to break up the brand colors and to interject an additional illusion of speed to the car on track as well as off.
This portfolio shows the process of the original design layouts, how the design came to life on the car and how it's been used by outside merchandise vendors.
